1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the OraLock mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

OraLock is a productivity and parental-control application that allows users to temporarily restrict access to selected apps using scheduled timers, focus modes, instant commands, and optional assistant features. The app’s primary purpose is to reduce distractions and help users focus.

3. Permissions and Required Access

To provide its core functionality, the app may require Accessibility Access, Usage Access, optional Microphone permission for voice features, and any other permission requested with a clear prompt. If you deny essential permissions, certain features may not function.

4. Data Handling & Local Storage

By default, OraLock stores configuration data locally on your device, such as selected apps, schedules, timers, and mode settings. The app does not transmit personal data to the developer by default unless you enable optional features requiring external processing.

5. Optional Features & Third-Party Processing

If you enable chat or voice-assistant features, your audio and/or text may be transmitted to third-party service providers for processing after your consent. You may disable optional features at any time.

6. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer is not responsible for any loss, missed notifications, lost data, missed calls, unsaved work, or other harm that may occur because of blocking features. Use the app responsibly and avoid blocking apps that are critical for safety or professional responsibilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or INR 100 if you paid nothing.

7. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use the app for unlawful or abusive purposes. Parents are responsible for configuring the app appropriately for minors and complying with applicable laws and guidelines.

8. Modifications

The developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or update these Terms. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

The developer may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms. You may uninstall the app at any time.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
