This Privacy Policy explains how OraLock collects, uses, stores and discloses information when you install and use the app on your Android device. The app’s priority is local device operation; we aim to collect minimal data and respect your privacy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored Locally

The app stores selected app lists, schedules, timers, mode settings, local block/unblock history, and simple usage metadata required for functionality on the user’s device by default.

2.2 Device Permissions

Accessibility Access: allows the app to detect the currently active application so it can enforce blocking. The app does not capture or transmit screen contents or personal messages.

Usage Access: allows the app to read app usage events necessary to decide when to block or unblock.

Microphone: optional and required only if you enable voice-assistant features.

2.3 Optional Third-Party Processing

If you enable voice or chat assistant features, your audio and/or text may be transmitted to third-party providers to process commands and produce responses. This happens only after explicit consent.

3. Purposes for Which We Use Data

To provide and operate core blocking and scheduling features locally on your device.
To process voice and chat commands if you explicitly enable those features.
For limited technical diagnostics if you opt into crash or usage analytics.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

By default, we do not share your local device data with third parties. Optional voice/chat processing may involve third-party services only after consent. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect legal rights.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Local settings, schedules, and history remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. You may request deletion of personal data you provided directly to us by contacting info@oralock.com.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect local data on your device. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device with PINs, passwords, and device-level security.

7. Children & Parental Controls

OraLock is intended to be used by adults to manage device access for minors when desired. Parents must comply with applicable laws regarding child data and parental consent.

8. International Transfers

Default processing occurs locally on your device. Optional external processing may involve service providers outside your country and will be described before consent.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or other reasonable means.

10. Your Rights & Choices
